EDITORIAL POLICY

Our editorial policy is as follows:

• The paper submitted to HCAIMEC, should not have been published in any other journal or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere (except publication in the form of an abstract in the proceedings of the conference).
• Double blind review policy is implied
• Articles with the highest ethical standards concerning plagiarism will be considered for publication.
• HCAIMEC will accept manuscripts prepared in accordance with ICMJE criteria/guidelines.
• Publication misconduct will be dealt with in accordance with COPE
• Not more than one publication by one author will be published in one volume as 1st author
• The corresponding author is responsible for furnishing the roles and responsibilities of co-authors in the research
• No change in the authorship after submission of article will be accepted.
• An undertaking is required from the author to avoid duplicate publications.
• Year-wise archives will be maintained on the HCAIMEC website
• Submission of the article by no means guarantee the publication of the article.
• Self -institutional authorship will not exceed 1/5th of the total articles.
• Articles of editorial board members will not be published.

EDITORIAL/ADVISORY BOARD SELECTION POLICY:

The editorial policy of HCAIMEC follows the policies of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC/PMC),Higher Education Commission (HEC),and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) policies in selection of members of editorial and Advisory board of the Journal.

• Editorial board is headed by a person with a PMDC-recognized degree and has research publications in national and international impact factor journals with editorship experience.
• Editorial board members must also possess a strong research background.
• Advisory Board 30% of Advisory Board members preferably should be from international backgrounds.
• Regular minuted meetings should be conducted for efficient working of the editorial board.
